August 2014 – HAVAS LEASES FORMER RED CROSS BUILDING

Havas Worldwide Australia, formerly known as Euro RSGC, are a major global advertising agency with key brands including Havas, Havas Media, Arnold Furnace, The Face and Red.

For the past 20 years, the group has been located across 2 floors of the Victoria Cross Building at 60 Miller Street, North Sydney.

With their lease nearing expiry, Havas decided from the outset that they wanted to move their operation to the CBD or CBD fringe.

After an extensive search of areas including Surry Hills, Pyrmont, East Sydney and the Sydney CBD, the decision was made to lease Levels 6-8 inclusive of the former Red Cross heritage building at 155 Clarence Street, a scheme being designed by Bates Smart and developed by St Hilliers. Comprising 2,200sqm the space includes an exciting blend of old and new space, including the exclusive use of a large terrace on Level 8 overlooking Clarence Street.

Havas will move in early 2015.

Cadigal was successful in brokering the transaction.
