Hall & Wilcox move to 60 Castlereagh Street - 2,250sqm

Hall & Wilcox has recently expanded their presence in the Sydney marketplace, leasing 2,250sqm over Levels 9 & 10 at 60 Castlereagh Street, Sydney – a high quality A' Grade complex owned by DEXUS.

Hall & Wilcox are a full service law firm employing over 340 people with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle. After considering a number of locations and alternatives in Sydney, the firm ultimately chose to remain within the Martin Place precinct in order to accommodate their continued growth, as they are current tenants of the nearby 39 Martin Place building.

The 60 Castlereagh Street premises were previously occupied by Centric Wealth, who will soon relocate to 1 O'Connell Street following their acquisition of the accountancy firm Crowe Horwath.

Martin Place has recently undergone a significant transformation, with a number of major redevelopments and upgrades occurring to several buildings. 20 Martin Place, 5 Martin Place and 333 George are currently progressing construction of three essentially new buildings. The landmark MLC Centre is undergoing a significant upgrade to its facade, office and retail areas whilst the owners of 60 Martin Place will commence demolition works in 2016 before speculatively developing a new 40,000sqm premium tower.

The Hall & Wilcox deal was handled by Cadigal Office Leasing, represented by Shaun Keating.
