Cadigal Secures Large Lease at 475 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood

Cadigal has secured McMillan Shakespeare to 475 Victoria Avenue Chatswood leasing 1,330sqm. McMillan Shakespeare relocated from Macquarie Park and was attracted to Chatswood given the improved transport links and outstanding retail amenity. Handled by Marcus Pratley the lease was secured for a 10 year term at a gross rent of $586.20 per sqm pa.

Over the past 12 months Chatswood has been one of the country's best performing leasing markets and has seen the A grade vacancy rate fall by 2.5%. In addition to new tenants entering the market we have seen a number of larger tenants renewing leases and expanding. We remain very positive about this market given the limited supply and the overall improvement of the Chatswood CBD. The recent opening of the new Chatswood Interchange retail precinct has further enhanced the Chatswood retail offering.

Over the past 18 months Cadigal has leased over 6,000sqm in Chatswood delivering outstanding results for their clients.
